Core Principles
Accountability, transparency, and action define Lyall Sanders' vision for Toronto. He believes in putting residents first, listening to every voice, and delivering real solutions that make Toronto safer, more affordable, and more prosperous.

Building Together
Lyall Sanders’ campaign focuses on improving life in Toronto by tackling major issues affecting residents. His plan includes making housing more affordable by building more homes and reducing delays in development. He also proposes tiny home communities to address homelessness, giving people immediate shelter while connecting them with mental health support and rehabilitation services. Sanders supports making the TTC free and safer, helping residents move around the city without the burden of high transit costs. In addition, his platform focuses on creating more job opportunities for youth, supporting small businesses, and making Toronto a safer and more affordable city for everyone.

FREE TTC
A Future Forward
Lyall Sanders has proposed making the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) free to help reduce the cost of living for residents and make public transportation accessible to everyone. As transit fares continue to rise, many people in Toronto struggle with daily commuting expenses. Sanders believes that removing fares would make it easier for workers, students, and families to move around the city without financial stress.
A free TTC system could also encourage more people to choose public transit instead of driving. This would help reduce traffic congestion, lower pollution, and create a more environmentally friendly city. By increasing ridership, the transit system would become a stronger part of Toronto’s infrastructure and economy.
Sanders also believes that making the TTC free would support young people and lower-income residents who rely on public transportation the most. Easier access to transit can help people reach jobs, education, and services across the city.
Overall, Lyall Sanders’ proposal to make the TTC free is part of his broader vision to create a more affordable, accessible, and connected Toronto for everyone.

End Homelessness

I will end homelessness in Toronto by delivering real solutions, not empty promises. Toronto spends nearly $900 million on housing and homelessness programs each year, yet thousands remain without a safe place to call home. Where is the money going?
As Mayor, I will bring transparency, accountability, and results. My plan will expand affordable housing in Toronto, improve support services, and ensure taxpayer dollars are used effectively to reduce homelessness and help people rebuild their lives.
It's time to make ending homelessness in Toronto a priority.
My Commitment
As a candidate for mayor, I promise to be genuine and dedicated to the people of Toronto. My background as a teacher, consultant, and artist uniquely positions me to understand and address our community's needs. I am committed to transparency and fostering open dialogue. Together, we will tackle challenges and embrace opportunities, creating a vibrant future for our city. Your concerns matter and deserve attention. I invite every Torontonian to reach out, share their views, and get involved in shaping our neighborhoods and future.
Jobs For Youth

Too many young people in our city are struggling to find work. Toronto needs a mayor who will take real action by creating more summer jobs, internships, and training opportunities. Our youth deserve the chance to earn money, gain experience, support themselves, and enjoy their summer without financial stress. Investing in young people means investing in Toronto’s future.
